SPEAKER_00

Hello, and welcome to the Hornets of Heartbreak Podcast. My name is Mark Bernanke, and I'm here with my co-host Tim Rogers. What's up, man?

SPEAKER_01

What'd it do? Micker Mark.

SPEAKER_00

I'm doing pretty well, man. Uh Tim, that is without a doubt the craziest game, Hornets game I've ever seen in person, any game I've ever seen in person. And I'm gonna go out on a limb and just say it's my favorite win the Hornets have ever had of all time.

SPEAKER_01

Um yeah. Yeah, absolutely. That was uh I was gonna say that was pure ecstasy. It was for the fleeting moments at the end of the game. Mark, let's talk about our night.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, uh crazy, crazy game, Tim. Um obviously people people have seen it, but I just have I have a little recap of the end of regulation. Um Brandon Miller, unsung hero of the night after a rough first half. Uh about 245 left. Melo drives in, kicks out to Miles, who instantly finds Miller in the corner. Cash. That's 1-3. Uh next Hornet's possession, we miss. Next Hornet's possession. Hornets are down by six again. Miles throws a lob to Brandon Miller, and Brandon Miller just for some reason doesn't dunk it. Uh, I don't know if you even remember that, but it was crazy. Like, yeah, he like caught the ball and seems like he could have easily dunked it, but he didn't. Uh kicks it right back out to Miles, who hits a three. Cash. Uh Horns down by four, Tim, with 20 seconds left. Miller hits a three with Jaime Hawkes, just draped all over him. Still down by one. Tyler Hero hits both free throws on the other end. Then we have the famous Kobe White shot with the Rocky music playing in the background. And I formally issue an apology to Kobe White. Uh, I'm sorry, you are better than Colin Sexton. Um, and yeah, Colin Sexton would not have made those shots that he was making last night. He kept us alive in the third quarter as well, in addition to this crazy shot. Um, on a in a game where we had some rough shooting nights from other players. Really, the trio of Kobe, Miles, specifically Kobe and Miles, but also Brandon Miller stepped up to keep us afloat. And just all the things that had to go right, Tim, for us to win that game. It was so crazy.

SPEAKER_01

It yeah, like I don't know. Obviously, Mark, you might not know this about me. I'm pretty emotional about the Hornets, not really about much else in my life. That game was so stressful. Like it was, it was just like back and forth, like the best I've ever felt in my life, versus being like because I'm not gonna lie, I was just thinking of like walking out of the stadium after a loss to the Heat and the you know, like the few, because I will give credit. Normally I'd say it's probably like 70, 30, like Hornet Heat fans. Last night, Hornet fans showed out, it was good.

SPEAKER_00

And what would you say, 99 Hornet? 99-1? It was 95-5, something like that.

SPEAKER_01

I would I yeah, like I, you know, I would say, you know, if I was giving a generous, I would say like 90-10, but I'd say probably closer to 95-5.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

There was one Heat fan in our section um who was a coward. I hate to say it. I really I'm a big believer in if you're gonna talk, you gotta talk the entire game, and you can't just talk when your team is doing well, and you have to acknowledge when people are semi-harassing you in public. Um, you gotta take it on the face. Uh, yeah, you know what? Credit, Mark. This is a podcast about accountability. Um, I don't know if anyone has hated on Miles Bridges. You you acknowledge your kit your uh your Kobe White. I've dogged on Miles Bridges pretty much since the incident, and mainly, you know, off court stuff aside, mainly on his play, talk about how much I hate watching him all the time. That was the best game I've ever seen Miles Bridges play last night, and he was, I would say, the MVP of that game. And it was amazing. Like, I I'm not gonna lie, when that alley oop happened in overtime, it was bliss.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, uh, and I have to say I saw the interview with Miles like earlier this week, and it does does worm your heart to see him finally get some small amount of success. It's just a play and win, it's just the nine versus ten, but just a small amount of success uh for the team because you know he has the longest streak of games played without playing in the real playoffs. Um, and you know, hopefully he's on the way to ending that. And he's he definitely is aware that he has that streak. Um, and he showed up to play 10 of 18 from the field, five of ten from three, hit two threes in crunch time. He had that reverse layup Tim uh channeling Michael Jordan. Might as well just throw that out there. Uh he had the block to seal it, he had the lob from Mello. Um, yeah, it in you know, and we needed obviously every last uh ounce of it. We needed it for Miles, and he he showed up.

SPEAKER_01

He he didn't. I mean, last time he was in the play-in ended with him getting ejected, throwing his mouthpiece, and hitting a child in a 30-point loss. So play-in redemption is all I'm saying. Hey, Rory McElroy gets to win two straight, two straight masters. Why can't Miles Bridges win two straight play-in games?

SPEAKER_00

Uh, yeah, I love it. And and yeah, we are we are typically hard on him, but he he earned he earned some love um um after after that game and after that great performance. So yeah, okay. Uh we have we have a lot to talk about before we get into like the media and Lamello and Khan and all that stuff. I just have to say the dichotomy of emotions uh during this game was incredible and almost gave me a heart attack. But Tim, when Lamello uh turned the ball, when Tyler Hero hit the three, and then LaMelo scored three points for the Heat um by turning the ball over and then fouling Tyler Harrow. I literally, like, we were in the very top of the stadium. That's on me, Tim. My bad. I didn't realize the seats were that high. Uh, but I literally like was laying down in the on the staircase. Just I couldn't take it anymore with my head in my hands. Like, I could not believe what was happening. I thought we had wrapped it up with the LaMelo uh layup to the point that like at that point I had already assumed we were not gonna score again. I mean, I I thought the game was over for sure. And then the LaMelo, you know, it's the dichotomy of LaMelo ball. Uh, he gives and he takes, and the very next play, he hits the layup to win the game. Miles Bridges hits that block. But I mean, just how many times in this game we thought we were gonna win, and then we thought we were gonna lose, and then we thought we're gonna win, and then we thought we were gonna lose. I it's so beautiful. Basketball is such a great sport, uh, and what a what a time to celebrate it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and especially because I know we talked about like oh, like the heat make me nervous, and not afraid to admit it. I hate them. I sports hate them, like I hate the Falcons, but I really I hate the Heat. And every other team, like, I don't really have like hard feelings against like the Hawks, the Magic. Like, I don't really even think about the Wizards. Um, but man, the Heat, and that's the type of game. Like, when Davion Mitchell was hitting threes, I was like, this is how, of course, this is how it ends. You know, like, of course, so so fitting for this to be it. And for us to actually pull out the type of game that we always lose was uh really just the most euphoric feeling I've ever had. And yeah, you're right though. Mark, you were laying down, and I consider you uh not a germaphobe by any means, but you're a you're a well-kept individual. And when you were laying on the floor, I was like, fuck, man, if Mark's feeling like this, like I might just have to like jump off, like God, like you know, this. It was just it was so painful. And then all I was thinking about was like, now after this great season, all everyone's gonna be is like, well, Lamelo prove that he's not a winner, because sports and the way that we talk about them are generally pretty stupid and uh derisive and comes down to one possession. And the fact that we were able to turn it around and actually pull it out, and let's just say it, you know, before we really get at anything, you know, like people like they love to like reminisce about like, ah man, back in my day, things were so cool, man. There was no internet, people complain about social media all the time, rightfully so. Um, to be there alive in the stadium and really have no idea of what like the outside consensus was, and to not know anything, because again, in the stadium, we had we all we knew that Bam got injured. We had no idea how, like, we pretty much just saw him walk off, and we were just like, wow, and you know, like we were so high up that our our view was blocked, so we didn't even see the stats. So we were living in like 1986, pure vibes-based basketball, just being like, Wow, Kobe's really got it tonight. It's like I don't know how many points he has. Like, I just know he's doing his part, so yeah, just being in there, the highs, the lows. Um, it's kind of it's like the way people talk about baseball, it's like, man, it's hard not to be romantic about basketball. We were hugging strangers. Mark will barely high-five somebody that he knows, and Mark was just hugging Randos last night. It was beautiful.

SPEAKER_00

Uh, yeah, man, it was it was so much fun. And um, yeah, your point about not knowing stats. I mean, we were so high up that we had to like lean down to be able to see the stats. Like, like there's stuff blocking our view of of the statistics. Um, and I wouldn't uh, you know, I said those those seats were too high. Uh, I'm so happy that I was there. Um, you know, normally, normally I would not, like honestly, I would not like to sit that high. It was not that's not ideal. You can barely see what's going on sometimes. Um, but I'm so happy that I had any seat to be at that game. Uh, and I will actually never forget being at that game. And it's, you know, people are like, all right, guys, chill out. It's just a nine versus ten game. And I I hear you, but it was so much fun. So much fun. And that is why that's why we do this shit, Tim. That's why we started this podcast. Uh, you know, hopefully we'll have more success than that. But for one night, it was awesome, and it was so much fun. Um, and let's get into it, Tim. So then to come out of that experience uh and to see the reactions of the NBA media and the NBA landscape and Twitter was just kind of wild because, like, from my perspective, that was the uh most awesome basketball game I've ever seen. Uh, and then to come out to hear some negativity about the Hornets was just a little jarring. And uh listening to podcasts today was like, what's happening?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, because we we walked out of there and we were like, wow, what what a gutty perform, gussy performance by Lamello Ball. Someone like shots not falling. He went in there and he made it happen. Um, it which we'll get into a little later. Again, no idea about how Bam got injured, which again we'll get into. Um, and also it was kind of wild to see the um the highlights. I almost this is this is kind of a deep cut, but there's a great thing or a great episode of Always Sunny, kind of hit or miss show, where like you see flashbacks and like you see all these people, and then at the end of the episode, they like pop back in. You're like, whoa, everyone's like way less attractive, and like then like the story made it sound. Kind of what it was like at the game, where like seeing the highlights after the fact, I was like, nah, I don't care about these. I have what I saw in my memory, and we were at such an odd angle that we could see the Kobe shot perfectly, and I was just like, yeah, it was more impressive than Ray Allen's game six shot.

SPEAKER_00

By the way, as Kobe shot the ball, I said, What the fuck is that? That's what I said. Uh, and I'll always remember that because I thought at the time, and it was a horrible shot, but he made it, so it doesn't matter. Um, but yeah, it's like, why are we getting up a shot immediately? There's no reason to rush this shot. Uh, but he he made it, so it does not matter. Um, yeah, so yeah, coming out of that, you know, Bill Simmons, Colin Coward, Nick Wright, pretty much everyone is just roasting LaBella ball after this game. And okay, first of all, not a good shooting game from him. Two of 16 from three. Cool. That's fine. Second of all, very bad turnover and very bad foul in crunch time. But I would think that that's like weighed out by him making consecutive layups on, you know, to like almost clinch the game and then to win the game. I would think that maybe we could like, you know, say that that's at least 50-50. So I really like don't fully understand the uh destroying of Lamello today. Did he make some some dumb plays? Yes. Did he take some shots that you shouldn't take? Yes. But if you watch Lamello, he does this every game. And it works because the Hornets have had you know one of the best written net ratings in the entire NBA. He does this every single game. And if you're gonna call Lamelo Ball a clown, Nick Wright, um, you also need to call Luka Doncic, Donovan Mitchell, Tyrese Maxi, Derek White, and Jalen Brown clowns because they all shoot worse from three than Lamello Ball. And I know that that's why he's calling him a clown is because he doesn't like his shot selection. But guess what? He takes those shots and he makes them in a higher clip than all those players I just named. And he makes more threes than all those players I just named. So uh I'm just tired of the discourse around him being so negative when it's a guy like Steph Curry taking crazy shots, and obviously he's not Curry, but when it's a guy take like Steph Curry taking crazy shots, it's like, oh Steph, you can he can take every shot he wants, but when Lamello does it, it's just always a bad shot.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and I feel like the context of the game was important, where like Miller picks up three quick fouls. Khan played 34 minutes of cardio ball.

SPEAKER_00

Um the two best players on the team outside of him were completely out of the out of the game. Sorry, I cut you off.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, I I agree. Yeah, like Moose played 36 minutes, and obviously, as we established last episode, he is the best offensive basketball player in uh in the league, but you know, still has tough tough time creating his own shots, and the Heat were playing good defense. There, there's no two ways about it. They were, you know, they were gutty, gutsy shots, but uh yeah, like I didn't really like coming out of the game. Obviously, yeah, you don't want to shoot two for 16. Never really looks good. But I don't know, like what else, what else were we gonna do? Were we gonna put Trey Man in the game?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, I mean, seriously, and and he did go 10 to 15 from two. Um and you know, I watch I watched the highlights back, and like, you know, there's a couple shots that feel like they're like momentum killers, but those are shots that like he obviously needs to take. He's made them all season, so there was not any crazy, like like one-footed step back from 40 feet in crunch time, like they were just kind of open shots. Um and they're shots that are well within his arsenal. Um, and you know, he is he is a generational uh tough shot maker from three. Like, I feel confident saying that. He is elite in making these ridiculous shots from three, so it's not a bad shot, and we've been saying that for years, and it just shows that the people like who say that you know he's a clown or whatever else everybody else said, just like don't actually watch the NBA. Um, and this was the first Lamello ball game that they've ever seen, and it happened to be a bad shooting night, so they you know come out with those takes. Um, with all that being said, you know, as I was lying on the staircase, I'm thinking like, oh, Lamelo, like, we can't win with him. I mean, with all with all that being said. I mean for 30 seconds, that's what I was thinking. Uh, and I mean, he has a very important game coming up uh in this next you know, eight verse nine game. I do think it's sort of a legacy game uh with everybody against him. Um and the verdict's still out. Is he an actual you know playoff winning player? I'm not gonna sit here and claim to say that I know that he's gonna take us to the promised land. Um, yes, he makes some dumb mistakes and he needs to work on that. But to completely rip him, you know, in a night when he's plus 14, in a night where he has like a game winner and then another game winner feels kind of crazy.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and especially again, this is one of those like is it just like we're missing the force through the trees because like we're so in on it? But like, you know, if you were to play Hornets and Heartbreak, you know, drinking game, and you took a shot every time we talked about how LaMelo, his biggest problem, which we talked about like two or three weeks ago, um, not being able to finish inside the arc and like, you know, when the threes aren't falling, what can he do? Like, if you listen to us, yeah, like we could give like a polar bear alcohol poisoning just based on how much we talked about it. Last night, I was like almost emotional, just being like, wow, he's finally doing it. Because like Omnos 10, like it wasn't, you know, he hit the the one midi and then the floater, but like otherwise, like he was going into a pretty hostile paint and drawing blood from a stone and getting tough shots. And it was kind of the first time where I was like, okay, like maybe like this is actually like actually real. Um, so I I feel like we'll probably be the only people saying it, but Mello's game did not bother me last night. I came away more impressed, not to be like contrarian, you know, because he'll have another game where hopefully, you know, uh either against the magic or sixers, depending on who wins, where that three turns around and he goes, you know, we know he can go seven for twelve. No problem. But the fact that, you know, he went out there and got gritty shots, that's my MVP.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah, for sure. And like, I want to like dodge the sort of like we're just relentless Lamello defenders. Uh, you know, nobody's even accused us of that, but I'm just kind of putting it out there that I feel like we will rip him when it's needed. Um, but you know, it's not like he had a ton of turnovers. He had three turnovers and he's doing everything for us last night. And he was better than the Heat's best player. Like, that's just how basketball works. Um, and yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So he was also plus plus 15 in a one-point win.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Yeah. Um, anyways, uh, we have one more negative thing to talk about, Tim. Uh, and that's that's Khan Kanipple, um, who was clearly uh nervous, let's put it lightly, um, out there last night. You know, we've been talking about how shooting slump has been happening for the past nine games in the regular season, only shooting like 30% from three. Um, and and I was nervous about that slump coming at the absolutely wrong time, and he was awful last night, like his worst game as a pro, I would say. That I I mean, at least that I can remember. Um, and I saw some other Hornets Media people giving him credit, and that's not what we do here. We we keep it real. He was really bad.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, a hundred percent. If Miles or Miller had that game, you might be leading with it. He was to say invisible would actually be to give him too much credit. He was really bad. Um missed some shots that he would normally make. Um but just overall, like, other than like a couple of defense possessions where I was like, man, you know, he didn't let his man go by him. That's how you know a guy is cooked. Um, where I was like, man, you know, he really defended Davion Mitchell pretty well right there. It's like, all right, we're grasping at straws. Uh yeah, the shooting, the shooting is a problem. And you know, if we're gonna have a guy who like, I think rightfully so, I really roll my eyes like this, you know. People are like, well, you know, he's like the third or fourth option on a team. How hard can it be? I'm like, well, that's really underselling what he does. And then you watch last night and you're just like, God, man, like he looked like a rookie. Um, and it was a little disheartening. And I believe I have this correct because of Luka Doncic and the fact that there's an open like investigation that NBA voting is not closed.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so it's not closed, but they they should not be using last night's game to factor into their decision. But people are probably.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, a hundred percent. Which shout out to Bill Simmons, who we love to talk about. Um Who I really only listen now when he talks about the Hornets, but the fact that he was like, Yeah, I mean, what kind of an idiot do you have to be like to do this? And then he's also like, Yeah, I think I also I bumped Scotty Barnes from third team uh for Denny Obvia because the game last night. And I was like, Oh fuck, man, like people are gonna do that. People were like, Well, you know, he didn't actually show up when it counted. And even though the odds had already kind of swung towards flag, it did seem kind of like a nail in the coffin, unless you know, the investigation goes on a little bit longer, the opening, and uh he drops 27 in the next game. Maybe that can help him. But yeah, I don't I don't really know what it is.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, yeah, so I mean it it looked like the Yips is what it looked like. I mean, yeah, as as uh, you know, somebody who's played recreational basketball, sometimes when you lose your confidence, you just can't shoot at all. Uh, and that's what's happened to him. And he was out there uh early at halftime shooting free throws, working on his form. Um, but it's like it's worse than the previous nine games because in the previous nine games, at least he was still letting it fly. Here it felt like he was nervous to even shoot, and he had that really bad shot, his last shot of the night, I believe, um, that was an air ball uh or hit off the backboard, maybe. But um, yeah, he seems to have like completely lost his confidence in his shot. Uh and I mean I hate to be a Debbie Downer here after the you know extremely exciting, amazing win. But if Khan's not gonna be good, we have absolutely no chance against the Pistons. Like, like the team, that's that's a wrap. We we need him. We needed him to be shooting. So on the one hand, I really commend Lee for his coaching decisions. On the other hand, like we might as well ride with with Khan because if he's gonna suck, then we're gonna lose.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, which let's let's give let's give a shout to Lee.

SPEAKER_00

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Uh, because we were complaining a little bit there in the fourth quarter. Like, feel like he just let Lamello sit for like an extra like minute and a half, then that led to the run, where there was the and one alley oop, and we were kind of like, oh I'm not like I don't think that Lee outcoached Eric Spo, but like that was a concern because Eric Spo's kind of terrifying, and maybe it's all just a myth. Maybe he's a paper tiger. Um, but I thought Lee was fantastic last night, and I thought that it took major, major because I mean we looked at each other and we were like, I don't know, you know, dance with one the brochure. Like, maybe do you put Khan back in? I mean, he essentially benched Khan. Um, he rode he rode Moose a little harder, even though Moose was having a bad game. Um, but yeah, man, Charles Lee. Now I'm like, get get this guy in the playoff series. Like, we have an above-average coach.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, for sure. And I mean Spolstra is terrifying. I mean, we have to mention that the Heat did all that without Bam, and I mean, they almost beat us. Uh, and that's a credit to Eric Spolstra. But yeah, no, Lee's Lee's rotations, people are giving him shit for playing Grant Williams in the end. That doesn't really phase me. I think Grant's a good basketball player. He didn't play particularly well uh in the in the clutch, but I mean, I think I think uh Grant Williams is like maybe our seventh best player on the team, so I'm pretty fine with him being out there uh in crunch time. I didn't really notice Musa having a rough game, honestly, like live, but I guess he was kind of getting worked um by Khalel Ware. So um, yeah, shout out to Charles Lee, man. Uh I don't think a lot of people would have had the gumption to pull out Con Kanipple, who's been your second, third best player all season.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that was cool. And honestly, let's uh, you know, as far as the Heat goes, uh Davion Mitchell, I had beef with for the rest of time after what he did at James Book Knight in their first summer league game.

SPEAKER_00

Uh what did he do?

SPEAKER_01

Uh he pretty much just got to play against James Book Knight. Book Knight could not do anything, and we were like, well, maybe he's just taking this personally, like Donovan Mitchell versus Jason Tatum. It was a very small version of that. Um, no, he just locked him up, and Book Knight was terrible. Turns out that that was maybe not just a blip. Um but you know, hate the heat. Where is out of this world good?

SPEAKER_00

Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, dude. Uh the Heaters, yeah, the Heat were sneaky good. I didn't expect them to have quite as much resources as they did. Like Andrew Wiggins is randomly just balling out. Uh he was awesome. Davion Mitchell was awesome. Honestly, like, I don't really know how we beat them. They they everybody played well except like Aime Haquez. I don't know. Everybody on their team was pretty good last night.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and it's like every time, like, you know, starters bench, you're kind of like, damn, okay, well, that got pretty good as well. Um, and I'm not gonna lie, like do you ever like when you were younger? Uh you know, you'd like play, you know, because believe it or not, I was not playing high school sports. Um, you'd play against like a rec team and you'd be like, Whoa, dude, like they're like they're calling plays. Like, whoa, like they're huddling. Like the Heat were like huddling on the court, like in between every inbound. And I was like, whoa, like this team's pretty locked in. Um, so as much as I hate them, I I do have to do have to give the cap. Should we should we tackle the BAM stuff?

SPEAKER_00

Yes, yeah, yeah, that's the last thing on the agenda. Um, so yeah, that I mean coming out of the stadium, I think pretty much everybody except for Hornets fans are calling it a dirty play um by Lamello. And I have watched the film here about 150 times today, Tim. Um I've watched I've watched this clip so many times, and I have to say I recognize my bias, but I actually think he's just bringing his arm back to the middle because he's on the ground and he needs his arm to stand up, and Bam's leg happens to be there. Uh, it's a very quick second. He does not grab his uh Bam's leg. In fact, his ripped wrist like kind of wraps around his leg uh because you know that he was not grabbing his leg. He is bringing it back, he's trying to stand up, he's trying to signal to the refs. Uh I don't think it was intentional.

SPEAKER_01

I will sound like a Hornet sober. What was Bam even doing there? Obviously in his area. And uh let's really just just call into uh media bias. If uh if Khan made that same exact movement, would there be as much discussion?

SPEAKER_00

Um no, no, I don't think there would. No, I don't think there would. Um yeah, I mean, if Lamello gets suspended, I will be extremely pissed. Um because I think that you know, I I can like understand why people think it was dirty, because it doesn't look good when you watch the the clip initially. Um but there is like a solid in my book, like solid 70% chance Lamelo did not do that shit on purpose. Um, and then there's a chance that he did do it on purpose, and for the league to suspend somebody for kind of a really quick play, the kind of thing that happens like three or five times a night, uh, and it's only getting attention because Bam was injured, I think would be really stupid. He did not, like, there's been way worse things that have happened that have not resulted in a suspension. The one that's gone around on the internet is the Drewell Embiid um clear intentional trip of Mitchell Robinson in the playoffs. Like, yeah, he this does not deserve a suspension. Um, I can't say without for sure whether I did it on purpose, but I think there's like a pretty high chance that he was just trying to stand up.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and if I was again, I'd like to, you know, take my hornets hat off and you know, just play like neutral fan. I would say, you know, well, yeah, that's that's a little tough. That's a little tough. But also, we were destroying them on the boards when Bam was there. We were up 19-9 on boards. Once Wear came in, became the primary, Bam came out, and obviously some of that was like energy, it was gonna go either way. Then it like kind of got a little evened out. And let me put the Hornets cap back on. I have one last counterpoint. Uh, the Heat and all their fans and all their players, uh, eat shit and die. You guys suck. I hate you. I'm glad we won. I have no regrets.

SPEAKER_00

All right, Tim. Uh I think that just about does it uh for this episode. We don't know who we're playing yet. What?

SPEAKER_01

Mark, we're doing media corner.

SPEAKER_00

No, we have three minutes left on this on the zoom. We did a media corner two days ago.

SPEAKER_01

You don't need a No, that was that was the the Horny's media corner.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, all right.

SPEAKER_01

What do you got? I have uh your girl, Olivia Rodrigo, was recently caught out having dinner with my boy Cameron Winter, uh, lead singer, songwriter of Geese, and also holder of maybe my favorite album of the 2020s, um, which everyone should listen to, Cameron Winter. That's my media corner mark. Check it out.

SPEAKER_00

That doesn't even that doesn't even make any sense. That's just like a paparazzi story.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I mean, really, because I think that you should start listening to Geese and you should listen to Cameron Winter Heavy Metal, which is a 12 out of 10 fantastic album.

SPEAKER_00

Real quick before we go, would you rather play the magic or the semi-6ers?

SPEAKER_01

Uh, I'd a hundred percent rather play the magic.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, me too. Semi sixers are up by four. Last I checked. So uh let's see.

SPEAKER_01

Let's see. We're gonna win win either way. All right, Mark. It has been real. It's been fun. You be safe out there, buddy. No hornets.
